If I’m honest, work and play days are my absolute favorite! I think because everyone wins. We get our work done (well, mostly) and they get to enjoy each other’s company and play. 🤍⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Today, I feel like I’m working on a bit of everything: ideas for social media (because honestly it’s so hard for me 😬), edits to a few amazing websites, and some collateral pieces for a church that I have the privilege of work with. With so much going on, I’m so thankful for real friendships where we can just do life together, get things done, and help each other out a bit. 🤍⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Made play-doh for the first time today with Keira

Made play-doh for the first time today with Keira and it was so fun!

Here’s how to do it:

1. Mix ingredients together in a pot (dry ingredients first)
🤍2 cups flour
🤍4 tsps cream of tartar
🤍3/4 cup salt
🤍2 cups lukewarm water
🤍2 tbsps vegetable oil

2. Stir together on stovetop at medium heat until it forms into a soft ball

3. Let cool in ziplock bags and add your food coloring of choice 😍

We had planned to head to my parents this past weekend for an overnight visit, and on a whim the girls and I decided to go a few days early so they can have more time with their grandparents and I could relax a bit. 😅

I don't know about you, but I have a hard time pressing pause. So these little mini-retreats are absolutely necessary, even though sometimes (especially with littles) they can be exhausting in their own kind of way. 😍
